Yacht Meniscus, seen here dried out in Ramsey Harbour, was built in Maryport by its owner from a Hunter Channel 32 "sailaway" kit and is now based in Whitehaven marina. She has been successful in club racing and in the annual "Round the Isle of Man Race". She completed a 6-week circumnavigation of the UK last year and will be used for further extensive cruising by the owners Martin and Pat.
